Fixed Protective Data Capsule
The Protective Data Capsule (PDC) is a special container with high technology, storing the voyage data of the past 48-hours. With independent intellectual property, Headway can offer a more competitive price for the PDC and spare parts.
Float-free Protective Data Capsule
The Float-free Data Capsule can also store the voyage data of the past 48-hour. The Float-free PDC includes a storage medium and a conventional GMDSS satellite position indicator beacon (a.k.a EPRIB). When submerged in water, the Float-free PDC will automatically float onto the water surface so it is more convenient to locate and salvage through satellite positioning.
